This morning I woke up at 4 am to go to the airport to catch our flight to Barranquilla! It was a really quick hour and a half flight. I stepped off the plane and just started laughing because I instantly remembered how bad humidity is. Elder Merrill lives in Arizona and says he loves the heat and I told him just wait until you feel humidity and he said he would be fine. Then He looked at me when we got off and I could tell he didn't like it haha.
In my few hours here already I have eaten a few strange things... First Chicken heart. It actually wasn't that bad! Then the other thing that wasn't quite as good Cow Utter.. Those both top my list of weird foods I've eaten!
Latinos have a hard time pronouncing TH because its not in any of there words. So no one hear knows how to pronounce my name. I've heard all different types of ways of saying it. So far so good, Barranquilla is way different than Bogota I like it better here already. Sorry I cant respond to any of your emails this week because I don't have time but I will for sure next week! I love you guys have a great week!
Also sorry I haven't been sending pictures every week.But I can send one this week. We were unable to at the MTC but next week and from now on I should be able to! I'm super excited to be in the field and can't wait to update you guys next week!
