2 Minutes that made my Mission worth it

I would like to start with a little story. We go to the temple a few times a week which is super cool! My first area is close to the temple so ive been able to see lots of old "wardies" which is really fun! But as I was about to walk into the temple story the door opened and it was Alfonso! One of my baptisms in Ciudadela! He gave me a huge hug and started crying and thanking me for everything. Here's a picture of Alfonso and I the first week I met him, and heres a picture of him a few months after his baptism! (That he forgot to send!)😜

The fact that he's still super strong in the church and how happy he is now this was by far the most rewarding moment in my life. My purpose for being here really hit me hard and oh how good my heart felt for the next couple days.

We had a district activity this past week. The Barranquilla is just off this really busy road, so for our activity us missionaries stood on the side of the high way (sometimes in the middle) and waved cars down to hand them a card and to tell them to go to the temple right now! It was pretty sketchy but in the end we got about 180 people to stop and go through the temple!

I got a new companion today! His name is Elder Palomino! He's from Peru so another Peruvian for me haha. He's dope, he likes sports and clean houses and whistling. So hopefully my update on him next week is that I didn't kill him from whistling haha.

I feel 100% back to normal. Yes there are times when I had sad moments but they are never aloud to stay. Im so grateful for the power of prayer and that fact that I have the knowledge to know exactly where my sister Kenzie is right now, so I have nothing to worry about.

I hope you guys all have a great thanks giving! Eat lots of turkey for me! Never forget the importance of family. Hug your loved ones a little more cause you may have to wait a few years in the next life to do it again! I love you guys be grateful for everything single thing you have.
