Pray for Pants

Wow time is really flying here! in 3 days it will be 1 months already! So only 23 more to go ;)

This week we got all new Latinos. There are about 40 of them. My group is now the oldest ones here even though weve only been here for 4 weeks. The new americans are really cool. They came with a few sport updates I hadnt heard yet so that was really nice of them haha.

My companions and I were playing soccer during gym which was really fun! There is a new Latino who is about 6 foot and weighs probaly like 275 pounds. Hes a big dude. He is really really funny and is always dancing or just dabbing haha. But when we were playing soccer out on the pavement he tripped Elder Merrill from behind (potentially a red card and I can say that since I was a ref) and Elder Merrill just ate it! He was near the sideline and when he fell he hit his head right on the curb! It didnt look that bad at first but then he got up and I realized he hit his head cause he just stood up with a blank face not saying anything. He then told us later he doesnt remember anything that happened from when he fell and when he was just laying on the grass which was about 30 seconds later. But the weird this was he landed righ on his ear. So he now has the ugliest bruised ear ive ever seen also the first bruised ear Ive ever seen. So we are saying that him landing on his ear was a blessing because he didnt crack his head open and we dont (think) he got a concussion. He was kinda loopy the rest of the day but by the next day he was fine. I think he likes all the attention from everyone especially the sisters haha.

Man is Spanish hard. I can finally put some sentences together now but I always conjegate them wrong which is really frustrating. One of the sisters in my sister literally started crying over the grammar because she didnt get it and it was hard. That wouldve been me except I dont cry so im proud to say I havent cried since being here haha.

There wasnt a whole lot this week but I thought I would keep you updated. We got the new room upstairs which is way better than our old one. The laundrey lost 2 pairs of my pants and they dont know where they are and they wont give me money for them so hopefully I can find them!

So this week please pray for my Spanish and also for my lost Pants.

Have a great week!!!

Love Elder Nethercott.
