Apple of Knowledge

Today Navidad came early.. Elder Palomino
got his Christmas gift a little early! 

This week flew by! From the temple our mission has received 5,000 references! So President Gallego has been focusing on contacting the people! In our area we have received over 100! So we try and contact a few everyday. It's such a blessing cause we have found people who literally just want to be baptized from their experience at the temple! Hopefully over the next couple months we can baptize a few more people!

Funny story, I don't know if this is missionary appropriate to share but its too funny I have too. We were teaching a temple reference. His name is Alvaro. He's the one in the pictures with a pregnant wife. Well she had her baby! Right now they aren't officially married so he cant really progress with us but now our focus is to help them get married cause they want to be baptized! We were teaching the plan of salvation and were talking about Adam and Eve. Elder Palomino was explaining how they were like kids and they didn't know how to have kids so after they partook of the fruit thats when they knew how. So he sat there for a good 20 seconds just thinking about Adam and Eve and then he says. "So the apple gave them sexual knowledge on how to have kids." It was so hard not to laugh haha. 

We are teaching another person and his name is Joaquin. He is 98 years old and still going strong! He actually is like all there and understands everything super well. He acts like he will live until he's 120! He wants to be baptized as well!

Also the futbol team here is Junior. Right now they are playing really good and are in 2 different finals! My pensionista Micky gave me a junior jersey and all the other missionaries got mad saying he favors me too much haha. So now im known as a Juniorista! I love it cause there motto is Siempre Tu Papa which means Always your Dad haha.

Elder Tesimale is a Assistant to President Gallego me and him are super good friends. We've been super good friends and have talked about getting each other stupid funny gifts so I got him some insoles and he was soooooo happy. He was like "you changed my life."
