The streak is over

This week was pretty uneventful. I know that's how I shouldn't start a blog post if I want people to actually read it lol.

We are teaching an 11 year old named Maria Victoria. She's super sweet and loves the church, she's is gonna be baptized this week! She has an older brother who's been a member for almost a year and he's preparing to serve a mission! A problem we run into here a lot is that most people aren't actually married. They just say they are married but aren't officially married legally. This makes it really hard for us to teach because we cant really teach people if they are living with someone who they aren't married to. Maria's parents are married so while we've been teaching her we've been teaching her parents. They don't want to get married for a few reasons, one is that if they want to separate its easy for them. They know that we believe in eternal families and they say that seems cool but eternity just seems like a long time to them. Which is so true eternity is a really long time! But I promise that we wouldn't want any less time if it meant we get to be with our families and the ones we love. We are gonna keep working on them! They attended church and enjoy it!

Oscar is another person we are teaching. He's great! He's 14 and is super funny. He loves soccer and video games. Especially fortnite. He's super goofy and is always dancing and has these super good questions for us. He is working on being baptized the next week!

We had another English class that went good! I taught them about contractions. It's crazy how bad my English is already for only being here for 3 months. I'll be talking to another missionary in English and just forget words haha.

Guess what!! They told us to wait another Friday to move into our apartment. But this week it seems to have a better chance than ever of happening haha.

Today we played soccer on an actually full sized turf field for the first time. It was strange cause we took this bus to the middle of no where and then we walked past a few cows and dirt paths then in the middle of no where there's just this super random super nice soccer field. We played ping pong again today and after a few more hours of not being beaten their game finally came. Someone beat me and the rest of them just starting cheering and running around the church yelling saying I finally lost which was funny haha.

Sorry I know this email sucked. I'll try and make some funny stories happen this week! If you have any questions you can also just email me! I love you guys have a great week!
